The EAST LONDON CUP will be contested on Sunday 15th January 2006, the venue will be at Poplar Methodist Church, 119 East India Dock Road, Poplar, London E14 6DE, aiming to develop friendly relationship among all communities, increase interest of the game, and for healthy leisure activities of all participants.
The 5 rounds tournament is organised by Vietnamese Community In East London, co-organised by UK Chinese Chess Association, and sponsored by COMIC SPORT RELIEF. Registration from around 10.30am, plays start 11.00am, finish around 18.30pm with a prize giving and closing ceremony. All welcome, participants are to observe all the regulations and decisions of the organisers, with friendly behaviour, and respect to opponents.
