我们最近获悉, 世界象棋联合会的网站，从即日起换上全新面貌，呈现在象棋爱好者面前。
推广委员会副主任宋德柔先生（多伦多）在这方面作出了大量的工作。
新网站的网址是: www.wxf.org (以前的网址 www.wxf.hypermart.net 失效）
新网站有大师对局仓库，内有大师对局约两万盘，有先进的搜索功能，利于布局研究、全局和残局分析等等。
网站还有洲际博客(Blog)论坛功能，让会员、会友发布亚洲、欧洲、美洲、澳洲等地棋讯和相片，洲际博客也是个人见解与交流的平台。
目前‘亚洲’ 栏目内已登出学务委员会主任陈团生先生（新加坡）的棋讯系列。
网站另外有 '人机对弈' 功能，想学象棋的朋友们，现在不怕入门无方了。
网站有PDF格式英文象棋书，是可免费下载的。

The World Xiangqi Federation's new website
The World Xiangqi Federation has announced that they are pleased to introduce their new website to the public, which is now at www.wxf.org (the old website at www.wxf.hypermart.net has expired).
The new website has several interesting functions:
1. A Master Games Database, containing about 20,000 searchable games from all over the world, helpful for study and analysis.
2. International Blog Forum, providing a platform for members to post tournaments' informations, to put forward suggestions or express individual opinions.
3. Providing a new photos album.
4. Play against the computer, always a help for Xiangqi beginners.
5. Free English instructional books on the game in PDF format.
The World Xiangqi Federation also said that WXF is a big family. The work of WXF depends much on everyone's co-operation and joint effort. Mr. Peter Sung of Canada and Mr. Felix Tan of Singapore were praised for their good works in helping to put the new website into place.
