Further to our earlier post, the "East London Cup" tournament to be held on Saturday 24th of February is quickly approaching, already many top players have entered the competiton. Anyway, whether advanced, intermediate or just beginners, all are welcome, as there are many prizes up to the 8th places. It is participation which is important.
Furthermore, as part of the Chinese New Year celebration, there will be a Lion Dance for about 20 minutes performed by members of the Vietnamese community, all Xiangqi players would be able to watch the Dance at close hand during break, what a special treat !
Free lunch will be provided to all tournament participants.
