On Saturday 31st of May there will be a Xiangqi tournament opened to teachers, pupils and invited players, venue at the Victoria & Albert Museum, South Kensington, entrance by Exhibition Road, (The V&A is at the corner of Cromwell Road and Exhibition Road, nearest underground station is South Kensington (Piccadilly, District and Circle lines), buses C1, 14, 74 and 414 stop outside to the Museum. Players are requested to arrive around 10am -10.30am. Person to contact Ms Stella of The Federation of Chinese Schools in UK, which organizes the traditional annual school event. It is expected the competition will be friendly as well as exciting, since the general game standard is getting higher and higher each year. Parents and the public are welcome to watch the game.
