The 11th World Championship in Shandong
The 11 th World Xiangqi Championship The 11th World Xiangqi Championship will be held from 28th of August to 3rd of September 2009, under the auspices of the World Xiangqi Federation, with the Chinese Xiangqi Association as Host Organizer, while the Provincial Administration of Sport of Shandong, the Municipal Government of Xintai as Co-Host Organizer. Venue of the Championship is at Rongfeng International Hotel, Xin Tai city, Shandong Province, China. The events will consist of Men's Team, Men's Individual, Non-Chinese/Vietnamese Individual, and Women's Individual. Men's Individual will be a 9 round competition using Swiss System. Women's Individual will depend on the participants for deciding the competition system and number of rounds.
