The 4th World Xiangqi Open was hosted by the World Xiangqi Federation, organized by the Ireland Xiangqi Association, supported by the European Xiangqi Federation and the Confucius Institute of University College Dublin, Ireland. The competition was divided into team and youth categories, and was held from 10 to 13 August this year. 63 players from 13 countries and regions, including Singapore, Canada, United Kingdom, United States, Germany, France and China took part.
The top three Men's teams were : China, Hong Kong, and Shanghai Xiangqi Academy.
The top three Women's teams were : China, Shanghai Xiangqi Academy, and Hong Kong.

（象棋通讯）据新华网报导，近日，‘孔子杯’ 第四届世界象棋公开赛在爱尔兰都柏林大学孔子学院完满结束。中国男队七战七胜夺得金牌，女队三胜一和夺得金牌。
男队由孙昕昊、孟繁睿和王宇航组成。女队成员是沈思凡和王文君。
世界象棋联合会副主席朱国平表示，希望加强中国象棋协会和都柏林大学孔子学院的合作，把象棋进一步向世界推广。
第四届世界象棋公开赛由世界象棋联合会主办，爱尔兰象棋协会承办，欧洲象棋联合会和都柏林大学孔子学院协办。赛事分为团体组和青少年组。有来自中国、新加坡、加拿大、英国、美国、德国、法国等十三个国家和地区的六十三位选手参赛。
又讯，据中国象棋协会消息，‘孔子杯’ 第四届世界象棋公开赛于八月十三日在爱尔兰的都柏林大学孔子学院胜利闭幕。
男子团体赛前三名排名是：中国队、香港队、上海棋院队。
女子团体赛前三名排名是：中国队、上海棋院队、香港队。
