全英象棋锦标赛六月举行

2009年 “顺德中文学校杯” 全英中国象棋锦标赛,由英国象棋协会主办、顺德中文学校协办,定于6月20日(星期六)举行,比赛中午12时开始,到下午6时许结束,棋赛旨在增进棋艺爱好者与社会大众友谊,丰富社区文娱康乐活动, 支持民办中文教育。(是日亦为学校学生结业颁奖典礼,同时举行) 比赛地点:顺德中文学校/Raines Foundation Lower School, Old Bethnal Green Road, London E2 9RG 交通: 最近地铁站 Bethnal Green (红线),步行到校约6到8分钟。走出 Bethnal Green 地铁,沿 Cambridge Heath Road 朝着 Hackney 方向走,第三个交通灯转左,白色矮铁门。Ajax House, Hector House 及 Paris House 在学校对面。 棋艺与友谊并重,奖励: 冠军: £120及银杯, 亚军: £80, 季军: £60, 殿军: £50, 第五名: £40, 第六名: £30;排名前六名将晋升英国棋协象棋大师。 采用亚洲棋例,报名费£15 (未满18岁£10),5轮瑞士制。赛后晚宴联欢,欢迎参加, 每位 £15 报名截至日期: 2009年6月18日。有意参加者请发报名 email 给黎先生: laiqi2@gmail.com 参赛者得服从主办方的规例和决定,以友好态度,善待大众,争取好成绩,比赛时旁观不语,不会无故早退。

UK Championship on 20th June '09

Happily coinciding with the school's end of term ceremony, the Shunde School Cup UK Xiangqi Championship 2009 , organized by UK Chinese Chess Association, kindly supported by Tower Hamlets Chinese School (Headmistress: Ms Stella Chung), will take place on Saturday 20th of June 2009, starting from noon 12 o'clock to finish around 6.00 p.m., venue at Raines Foundation Lower School, Old Bethnal Green Road, London E2 9RG. Beginners to masters are all welcome! As for transport indication, the nearest underground is Bethnal Green (Central line), the school is about 8 minutes walking distance. From the station go along Cambridge Heath Road in the direction towards Hackney, pass Museum of Childhood and BP station on the way, turn left at 3rd traffic light, St. Judes Rd is adjacent to the school, with low white iron gates, Hector House and Paris House are opposite the school. 蒋川、张强越南蚬港决战

Jiang Chuan of China won the Vietnam Tournament, contested on 21-28th of March 2009, with Zhang Qiang runner-up.
