Note：The illustrative game is from the ancient manual'Shiqing Yaqu'(适情雅趣), first published in 1570 in the Ming dynasty. The rare and priceless manual consists of 10 volumes in total, with diagrams and moves, there are 550 end games, plus many completed games, also games with given odds, and much more.

Here we see odds of two Knights is given by the first player: A duel of the mighty big Cannons fought all along the river bank.
