The small town has a temple called Tian Hou Gong, well known around the area, attracting many visitors, and directly contributing to the development and prosperity of the town. Most of the inhabitants are descendents of Fujian people. They live and prosper here, keeping the traditional way of life and culture of China. Here it seems there is no big supermarkets or shopping centres, apart from cars and modern electrical goods, time has almost stopped as if one is still living in the past. Grandmaster Li Laiqun gave a simultaneous display of one versus three local players and won all. In the evening we went back to Taipei by car transportation. The next morning, on the 30th we took the plane to Hong Kong for our transit, arriving in Beijing at night, thus concluded our pleasant visit of Taiwan.
