35th Xiangqi Championship in Paris 2025
(Xiangqi Newsletter) News from Paris: The 35th European Xiangqi Championship was initially planned to be held in Paris in late December 2024 around the Christmas time. However due to Christmas holidays many players have already made a plan with their family. Hence the Organizers and the Sponsors decided to postpone the Championship to the end of January or early February 2025, during the Lunar New Year. The total prize money will also be increased from EURO 3,000 to EURO 5,000. The tournament venue will be in Paris 13th district. The first European Xiangqi Championship was held in Paris in 1984, and to date, 34 Championships have been held. （象棋通讯）巴黎消息：第35届欧洲象棋锦标赛将于2025年正月底或二月初农历春节期间，在巴黎第13区举行。 + + + +
