Forgot to mention February

Earlier I put in a post and said :

"Welcoming the year of the Pig at the South Kensington's Victoria & Albert Museum, on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th there will be a series of Chinese New Year 2007 activities, including Xiangqi (Chinese Chess), Calligraphy, Tea Tasting, Lion Dance and much more.

The Xiangqi activities will be on Sunday 18th from 11.00am to 17.00pm, at V&A's Raphael Gallery. All are welcome !"

However I forgot to mention the month. And it is for February !

4th World Xiangqi Open to be held in Dublin

(Xiangqi News) Organized by the World Xiangqi Federation, hosted by the Ireland Xiangqi Association and co-hosted by the European Xiangqi Federation, the 4th World Xiangqi Open 2024 will be held on August 10th-13th, at the Confucius Institute for Ireland, University College Dublin, Belfield, Dublin 4, Republic of Ireland. The Ireland Xiangqi Association has joined the World Xiangqi Federation recently, it has hosted with success the European Xiangqi Championships last year and in 2022. Closing date for the Open tournament registration to be on June 30th, 2024. Competition events include Men’s team; Women’s team; Men’s individual; Women’s Individual, as well as youth group U18, U15 and U12. 35th Xiangqi Championship in Paris 2025

(Xiangqi Newsletter) News from Paris: The 35th European Xiangqi Championship was initially planned to be held in Paris in late December 2024 around the Christmas time. However due to Christmas holidays many players have already made a plan with their family. Hence the Organizers and the Sponsors decided to postpone the Championship to the end of January or early February 2025, during the Lunar New Year. The total prize money will also be increased from EURO 3,000 to EURO 5,000. The tournament venue will be in Paris 13th district.
