Practical Rook and Pawn ending

Today we present another World Championships game, Beijing 1993, between Zhang Rongan of Netherlands and Robert Hubner of Germany, played on 4th April during the 2nd round of the tournament.

It was a long battle of wit, attacks and counter attacks, in the end, Red with two Pawns and Rook could not obtain better than a draw game. It is an attractive game to replay, and a lesson in practical Rook and Pawn ending.
