愉快告诉读者，今年的全英象棋锦标赛，定于十月十五日星期日举行，五轮瑞士制，地点是Pontefract Castle, 71 Wigmore Street, London W1U 1QA. 中午十二时开赛，约于下午八点半结束并颁奖。

由于位置适中，是伦敦游客区，多次棋赛都在该处举行，棋友们相当熟悉, 也欢迎观战。比赛旨在促进棋艺爱好者及社会大众的友谊，提高对中国象棋的兴趣，丰富社区文娱康乐活动。棋赛设奖金冠军£100， 亚军£60， 第三£40，第四£15, 排名前四名优胜者晋升英国棋协象棋大师。报名费£10，截止日期十月十日。可接受邮电报名：laiqi2@gmail.com .

We are pleased to let everyone knows that the UK Chinese Chess Championship, organised by UK Chinese Chess Association, will be held on Sunday 15th of October 2006, at Pontefract Castle, 71 Wigmore Street, London W1U 1QA, from noon to around 20.30pm, a Swiss system of 5 rounds. The venue is conveniently situated in central London, with many touristic attractions around. Many players are familiar with the place as Jin Yang Cup tournaments have been held there several times.

The aim as usual is to develop friendly relation with all, to increase general understanding and interest of the game. First prize £100, runner-up £60, 3rd £40, 4th £15, plus gifts.
