Chat of butterfly and flower

This is a translation of a Cao Yuan's poem which was posted yesterday.

Chat of butterfly and flower
    * Cao Yuan *

In the afternoon the sun's setting

The falling flower teases the butterfly:

"Where is my beautiful lady

Everywhere one sees only fallen leaves?"

Autumn blows the cool breeze

The fragrance of cassiabarktree flower is overpowering

"It is true the beautiful lady is nowhere to be seen

But the four seasons are forever in my heart"
