Today logged on to the Worldmindmasters website, which have already announced their competition of the World Xiangqi Masters 2006, the final stage of which will be held in Beijing, as in previous year.
The online competition is opened to all, the announcement said that anyone can enter the most exciting Xiangqi tournament on the planet - the only World Xiangqi event where everyone has the chance to enter online and meet the masters and grandmasters of the game at the finals live in Beijing.
32 top online players will be invited to Beijing to play a normal knockout tournament, the top 8 players, plus 4 invited players from outside mainland China will join the finals. 12 online qualifiers together with 12 top Chinese masters and grandmasters are joining battle in the final stage for top honour and big prizes.
